This portal seeks to provide material on torture. Background information, cases and other material will be provided. One of the core aims is the ratification and implementation of the Optional Protocol of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. The countries of concern in this project are Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and the Philippines.
